With Buy & Bid Auctions, there are no complicated forms to fill in – simply get in touch to arrange a callback. We’ll be in touch to arrange a site visit and consultation at a date and time that suits you. Quotations may vary depending on the number of rooms that need clearing and the size of the items that need removing.
Once you accept our quote, we will confirm a date and time for the clearance and take a deposit of 10% of the agreed price by either bank transfer, cash, or card. We won’t take any further payment until the job is complete as agreed and you are completely satisfied.
Our uniformed and fully insured team are happy to oblige any of your requests, including whether you’d prefer male or female staff. What’s more, we can also hold onto items for you for a while before you decide to sell them on – just let us know and we’ll put them to one side for you.
There are some items that we would not normally take on a standard clearance, including carpets and appliances, but we will be happy to remove them with prior notice. For instance, gas cookers will require a fully qualified gas engineer to disconnect and cap off before we remove them. We will include any costs in the quote we give you, and we won’t charge you any more than that.
We don’t leave any rubbish behind either inside or outside your property. We will vacuum any carpets, flooring, and work surfaces throughout the house to leave it as clean as possible. In these times of COVID-19, we understand that extra precautionary measures may be needed, and we are happy to work within the set-out government guidelines wherever possible.
If you require a contactless clearance, we are happy to accommodate you. We will need to pick up your keys, either by post or via a third party, (e.g., estate agents or friends) and we will provide photos of the cleared rooms via email with your invoice to check you are happy with our work.
